Spring Lake Home Expansion
A Jersey Shore bungalow, doubled in size.
In 2008, we were contacted by a client who wanted to expand their single-floor bungalow on the Jersey Shore into a more contemporary and spacious two story home. We kept the original footprint of the bungalow, adding only a small addition in the back. In keeping with the architectural style of the Jersey Shore, we added Arts & Crafts interior detail, creating a clean and contemporary feel. We also incorporated current best-practices for hurricane protection, including storm-resistant glass, flow-through foundation vents, structural tie-downs on the roof.
